About ITB Alumni Gathering

ITB is a reputable university in Indonesia and therefore the alumni are usually high in demand, making ITB alumni gathering a rare occasion. However, it is a long-awaited event. Meeting old friends and reminiscing about the past can warm our hearts and refresh our minds amidst our busy buzzing lives. Alumni gatherings also give the benefits of sharing experiences and insights across diverse career paths. They foster a sense of community, enabling individuals to stay connected to their alma mater while celebrating achievements and fostering lifelong friendships.

On this occasion, we collaborated with KMPA Ganesha ITB to organize the event at the Madani Learning Center in Cibodas, Maribaya, Lembang. It was a 2D1N event with fun games during the day and casual gatherings by the campfire at night. There were also presentations, and a bazaar of outdoor equipment and merchandise to hype up the event.

Fun Games for Alumni Gathering

Madani Learning Center provides a green and spacious area for outdoor activities. We held several activities and fun games including tent-setting competitions, tug of war, trekking, and canoeing. The most anticipated though, was the canoeing contest. Canoeing is relatively safe even for elderly people, and the pool itself was not deep so you don’t have to worry about drowning. There were fun shouts and lots of splashing during the canoe competition. Some participants even fell into the water, which brought laughter to the spectators.
