Gede-Pangrango Mountain Trekking

(3D2N or 2D1N)

The hike to the top of Mount Gede which has crater with towering cliffs is a wonderful hiking experience. We can get extensive views of Mount Pangrango, Mount Salak, and the Bandung area. If it is on clear days we can see Gunung Karang in Banten Province, view of Jakarta, and the coastline of West Java. We can also see Sumatra if we are lucky. While Mount Pangrango is a dormant volcano with a peak surrounded by forest.

Along the hiking track, we will find fantastic sceneries and interesting spots like Telaga Biru (blue lake), a large swamp area, Cibeureum waterfall, a fantastic natural hot stream waterfall, crater on top of Mount Gede, and fields of Javanese Edelweiss (Anaphalis javanica) which are located in the Suryakencana meadow in Mount Gede and the valley of Mandalawangi in Mount Pangrango.

Let us arrange a hiking trip to this mountain for you. To hike both of the peaks, we usually need 3 days and 2 nights trip (3D2N). But if you a fit hiker, then we can also arrange a 2D1N for you to climb Mount Gede and Mount Pangrango Summit, or just one of them.
